The Martin Place Metro North Tower is part of the landmark Martin Place Integrated Station Development — Australia’s first over-station development combining public transport, premium office space, and civic infrastructure in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
Delivered by Lendlease and designed by Johnson Pilton Walker, the tower rises 40 storeys above the new Martin Place metro station and now serves as the global headquarters for Macquarie Group.
This $3 billion precinct merges transport, business, and public realm — creating a new civic destination that blends architectural ambition with world-class connectivity.
Set within the revitalised Martin Place civic spine, the North Tower integrates commercial, retail, and public spaces while respecting surrounding heritage buildings. Its sculptural podium, faceted silver façade, and publicly accessible plazas reflect the project’s emphasis on future-forward, sustainable urban design.
PKF was engaged to deliver approximately 53,000 m² of flooring across the tower, podium, and back-of-house areas.
Working closely with Lendlease and subcontractors across multiple trades, our scope included:
The Martin Place redevelopment redefines Sydney’s relationship with transport and work — linking metro infrastructure directly to workplace and retail, all within a unified civic space.
PKF’s involvement in this high-profile project reflects our capability to deliver at scale, under pressure, and to a premium specification.
We’re proud to support ambitious architecture with flooring that performs, complements, and endures.
Being part of a project like the Martin Place Metro North Tower is an honour. It’s a reflection of our commitment to quality, reliability, and helping create the environments that will define Australia’s cities for the next generation.
