Project Overview

The Paediatric Services Building (PSB) is a major part of the $619 million redevelopment of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, aimed at transforming paediatric healthcare in western Sydney. Roberts Co has been appointed for the design and construction of the $330 million project under a Design and Construct contract for NSW Health Infrastructure.

Once completed, the state-of-the-art facility will replace and expand existing paediatric services, significantly improving surgical and critical care capabilities. The high-rise hospital will include:

  • Front-of-house and retail spaces
  • Pharmacy and surgical short-stay units
  • Perioperative services
  • Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) & Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Oncology inpatient and day oncology units
  • Medical and surgical inpatient units
  • Family-focused retreat areas and accommodation
  • Short-stay parking, loading dock, and logistics facilities
  • Public domain and landscaping

PKF has been engaged to deliver the flooring works throughout the Paediatric Services Building. Our team is responsible for installing high-performance flooring across key areas, ensuring durability, safety, and hygiene in this critical healthcare environment.

We are proud to be part of this landmark healthcare project, working alongside Roberts Co and NSW Health. Our team remains committed to delivering high-quality flooring solutions that will serve future generations of patients at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
