The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) is one of New South Wales’ largest and most significant healthcare redevelopments — a transformative $830 million project that will expand Liverpool Hospital’s capacity and create a world-class hub for clinical care, research, and education.
Part of the state’s broader investment in next-generation health infrastructure, the redevelopment is designed to deliver improved patient experiences, enhanced staff facilities, and integrated research capability — setting a new benchmark for healthcare delivery in south-west Sydney.
The multi-stage program includes new clinical buildings, major refurbishments, and upgraded support facilities, providing expanded capacity for emergency, intensive care, neonatal, and specialist services.
When complete, LHAP will serve one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, supporting over 1.2 million residents across the South Western Sydney Local Health District.

Working in partnership with Lendlease and Health Infrastructure NSW, PKF was engaged to deliver over 80,000 m² of specialist wall and flooring systems designed specifically for healthcare environments.
Our work spans the new clinical zones, administration areas, and back-of-house facilities — combining hygiene, safety, and long-term durability.
It’s a privilege for PKF to help deliver such a landmark project for New South Wales.
The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct will not only improve patient outcomes but also strengthen the foundations for medical research and training for generations to come.
At PKF, we take pride in contributing to the infrastructure that shapes healthier, stronger communities — from hospitals and schools to innovation precincts and public facilities.
